Alright. So today was the concert for Blue October and Switchfoot. As some know, I am a seriously huge Blue October fan. I saw them at the Sokol in April and I got pretty close, but this time, I wanted to be ALL THE WAY close. Its a much bigger venue at Stir Cove (Harrah's) and I didn't want to get stuck in the back. So, even though the doors didn't open till 6:30 (show started at 8:00), we got there at about 3:30 and were the very first people there. For those of you that don't know, Stir Cove is an outdoor venue so that meant HOURS of sitting in the hot sun with no sunscreen, shade, water or food. I did get sunburnt. I shaded myself as best as I could with Mike's overshirt and I did pretty well considering. ANYWAY While we were waiting in line Jeremy Furstenfeld (the drummer for Blue October) came over to the front of the line and shook my hand (and Mike's hand). I recognized him right away and said, "HI!!" in the most over excited way, but that alone was worth sitting in the sun. Toward the end of our wait, Mike ran in and got us some 12 oz bottles of water, which is not enough but helped us survive. As soon as the gates opened we got right up to the front. We were first row hanging over the barrier. I was thrilled. We then ate a sandwich from Famous Dave's (the staff were VERY nice to Mike) and waited the next hour and a half for Switchfoot to come out. Ok, so its pretty clear that the lead singer of Switchfoot is a Nutter. Without informing the security he decided to jump on to the barrier, climb the stage scaffolding and tear off and run through the crowd. The security guy was NOT impressed. Also, he played a guitar with his mouth. But they were alright as it goes, I enjoyed it. I have less to say about the actual Blue October show, except that it was incredible just to be there and even more incredible to be right up to the stage. They played every song that I wished they would have played last time. So, I'm glad I went through the trouble to get there so early, although I'm paying for it now, My body HURTS. Nevermind poor Mike. He's a trooper though. Anyway, I never blog about anything but it was a very special night. Oh, the venue posted some pictures already on Twitter and we are in one. I'll attach it to this note. I'm sorry the outline isn't so great, I don't have photoshop with me. Anyway, check it out.

10:20pm.. put Monday's comic up early! Thanks for sticking with us! Not too many people stick around on a website that's basically a photobucket for inside jokes, so we'll start getting more understandable.. maybe. :) I'ma gonna jerk around with some html because I'd like to share more links to other great sites! That's all for this minute.. thanks!

Might be comics up saturday and sunday, or might not. Check back and find out! All new comics all monday-friday next week too! Gonna go see the Harry Potter movie this weekend, hope it's good! Missed out on STAR TREK and WOLVERINE and some other movies this summer, but that's okay! All the more to enjoy on DVD-BLU RAY! I'm looking into futures for this comic and they're bright, but I'm not deterred from other plots and plans. Hey! Check out our forum and meet some friends!
